There are two primary survival emotions we hold onto as children, from which we then build our limited perception of self: hurt and scared—usually both.
These emotions become our operating system. Just like DOS turned into Windows 11, our perception gets compounded over the course of our interactions with the world.
We break free when we realize we can return to the BIOS of our system. That is to say, the warm hug that is encapsulating each and every one of us at this very moment.
Think about the miracle that is the fact that you can read this very piece: the amount of people it took to design the technology that created the screen you are reading this from; not to mention the RAM, CPU, and GPU underneath. Is that beautiful or what?
Beloved reader, we need to see the fake GUI that is in front of us. Be hurt. Be scared. Then be brave enough to see what is behind hurt and scared.
